Sensible Cloud NA brings “sense” to cloud and virtual computing to the US and Canada.

The North American operation has been established to assist and augment the efforts of IT organizations to proactively manage the infrastructure resource demands of their business. Similar to the proliferation of the virtual and cloud platforms in information technology across the continent, Sensible Cloud will provide “sense” to any organization that needs to sustain the constant balance between satisfying demand while managing cost. The innate structure of “sense” is to be vigilant of the instant changes in resource demand requested from any aspect of the business, then respond with more resource availability or simply ramp down if less is needed, while providing consistent and satisfying delivery of services to the end user – the customer. This “sense” ability is delivered through the design of business aligned service level agreements that reside inside and/or outside the cloud/virtual environment.

Global mobile operator

The mobile operator depends on the reliability provided by sense for its online ADSL business solution.  This application is responsible for more than 1 million customers in the operator’s market.  The development of the solutions concentrated on the functionality and quality provided to the end user by enriching all the http requests with custom user information.  The reliability, performance and fault tolerance were configured and tested in a few of days once the application was deployed.  The operator had to do no work in the design and development phase of the project to ensure they would have 24×7 reliability and enough capacity to handle peak user loads.  Within a few hours they had configured sense to the Business SLAs they wanted, and then proceeded to carry out the full end user acceptance testing before going into production. The application continues to run 24×7.
